Continuing Education for Coaches.

Most of our current courses are designed to meet the Center for Credentialing & Education’s BCC Requirements.  Every CCE-Board Certified Coach must earn 70 CEs (CEUs) in a five-year period. Also for those with specialties, hours must reflect that.  BlueRio’s Founder is a BCC and offers courses that align with the core competencies, including Ethics and at an affordable rate. In the future BlueRio will also offer ICF CE programs.

Due to the content and additional tools, programs are not always priced the same per contact hour. However, as a rule of thumb, most of our full certification courses are priced between $35 – $50 per hour and most of our continuing education courses for BCCs are priced between $15 – $25 per training hour. (As of November 2023 – BCCs may enroll in a full coach certification and count those hours as CEs… they cannot take a course they used for their initial certification.)

****ICF coaches:  You may use Asynchronous programs – however at this time we are NOT officially an ICF provider – you **May be able** to submit a CE program for review and ICF will determine what CEs can be counted for CORE vs RDs. You will need: a “Concise class outline or syllabus that summarizes the names of classes/modules and the time allowed for presentation”
So if  you are interested in a BlueRio course and need a more in depth document to send to ICF, please reach out to un in advance of purchasing your course.

The purchasing system used will take you through 3 steps. Right before finalizing your purchase, you will see an option to pay securely with a credit card OR by using Pay Pal. It will be your choice as to your payment method.  At this time we do not accept checks.

Coaching On the Spectrum, an Interview  with Elad “Al” Benettar, BCC.

Elad (AL), CCE Board Certified Coach, focuses on bringing exceptional value to his clients, especially for individuals on the higher end of the Special Needs Spectrum. His Background spans over 10+ years across multiple fields including Administrative, Customer Service, Government, & Education, Coaching and Professional Speaking.

Al founded the social justice movement Special Challenged Lives Matter (SCLM), as a vehicle to bring more awarness to a population he is passionate about serving. His belief of not only to “talk the talk, but to walk the walk”, about the life challenges faced by individuals on the higher end of the spectrum inspired him to create this movement, become a motivational speaker and a Board Certfied Life Coach. Al provides practical, real world services to individuals, for them to become empowered to live life of their dreams on their own terms.

Being diagnosed on the higher end of the Special Needs Spectrum at the age of 18, Al learned through trial & error the social life skills that aren’t taught in school. Living independently by age 19, married at 24, & becoming prescription medicine free at at age 28 is something he is extraordinarily proud of and grateful to claim.

In this 3 CE course, interview style, we learn more about coaching persons with special challenges, especially those on the higher end of the Autism Spectrum from someone who has lived the experience and now a coach himself.
